If you have a panel van conversion, it is now possible to install roof air conditioning. Cool Auto UK Limited have developed a cover plate which is bonded to the roof before the air conditioning unit is installed. This plate provides a flat surface to locate the roof air conditioner and seal against water & wind.
We can also install air conditioning on non-standard applications, such as Auto Sleeper fibreglass coachbuilt bodies which are slightly curved with moulded spoilers etc.
We are currently working on a solution for mounting a ducted air conditioner under floor of the vehicle. Our prototype will be installed on a Carthago Chic as the owner needs all the garage space, and the only available under seat location has the travel seat belt brackets in the way.
